ABOUT US

The Neighborhood Co-Op offers private and collaborative rental space to community-minded non-profits, businesses and individuals. It is designed to promote sharing of resources, talents, and networks for the betterment of Sanford.
By creating affordable gathering space that feels like home, we want to invest in helping our partners to support one another's work and spend more of their dollars on programming rather than overhead. While you do not have to have any religious
affiliation or beliefs, we do require all partners to commit to shared values which will shape our community and its work together.

Our values

Dignity: We commit at all times to treat one another with dignity regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic or housing status. No exceptions. Dignity is not earned, it is inherent in all of humanity (& nature too!).
Community: We commit to forming a community with one another. We are not just space sharers, we’re neighbors!
Investment: We commit to making an investment in each other and in our shared community.
Good: We commit to ‘Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can.’ (John Wesley)
